Day 1. Welcome to Dublin!
Arrive at Dublin International Airport and pick up your rental car from Dan Dooley. Drive 1 hour to your accommodation in Killenard, admiring Ireland's natural beauty along the way. Once you arrive and settle into your room, explore the small village of Killenard or your accommodation's grounds.
Check-in - The Heritage
Immerse yourself in elegant charm at the 5-star Heritage Killenard in County Laois. As soon as you walk through the hotel's doors, you'll step into a state of pure peace and tranquility. Check-in with the friendly reception team and admire the hotel's rich, traditional decor as you make your way up to your room. Open your door and find air conditioning, internet access, large comfortable beds, flat-screen TVs, and more.
After a quick nap, unpack your swimsuit and take a dip in the Jacuzzi or indoor pool. Day 2. Killenard - Cork
Leave Killenard and drive approximately 2 hours south to Cork! Check into your second luxurious accommodation, then start exploring the city known by locals as Ireland's "real capital."
Uncover the secrets of an old prison at the Cork City Goal, then enjoy amazing panoramic views from the bell tower at the famous St. Anne's Church. In the evening, head to the nearby seaside village of Cobh and enjoy a freshly-caught meal while surrounded by Cobh's picturesque charm.

Day 3. Cork - Killarney
Leave Cork today and drive west about 1 hr 20 mins to Killarney. After you've settled in, consider venturing out to the nearby Killarney National Park and explore the natural and man-made wonders scattered throughout the park. You'll encounter the picturesque Torc Waterfall and the historical Muckross House, as well as a number of lakes, mountains and castle ruins.

Day 4. Killarney - Cong
Drive about 3 hours north to your next destination, Cong. On the way, stop in the city of Limerick and stroll the compact old town. Standing along the River Shannon is King John's Castle, a 13th-century fortress and Limerick's claim to fame!
Arrive in Galway in the early evening and have dinner in the bohemian city known for its brightly painted pubs and freshly caught oysters. Drive about 45 minutes north and arrive at your accommodation in Cong.

Day 5. Cong
Spend the day exploring Connemara National Park! Outdoor enthusiasts will go nuts over the park's 7000 acres of mountains, bogs, heaths and grasslands, with wildlife and scenic walking trails.
Culture and history buffs will want to visit Kylemore Abbey, a Gothic Benedictine nunnery with restored Victorian rooms and free garden tours.
Day 6. Cong - Donegal
Leave Cong today and drive approximately 2 hr 30 mins to Donegal. If you're looking for an adventure in the great outdoors, visit the neighboring Glenveagh National Park. Here you'll enjoy scenic views of mountains, waterfalls and even castles secluded from the rest of the world.
During your stay in Donegal you can take a drive to the Slieve Leage or Sliabh Liag for some fresh air and the most beautiful Irish landscapes. Or, drive over to Enniskillen, Northern Ireland's only island town and explore the lovely castles or unique marble arch caves.

Once the sun goes down, head to the Temple Bar neighborhood for a fun night out among Dublin's party crowd.

Day 9. Depart Ireland
Take one last look at Dublin before driving to the airport for your flight home. Drop your rental car off then make your way to your departure gate.
