Day 2. Dublin
After breakfast, take on a full day of Dublin exploration! You may want to explore the historical and spiritual highlights of the city from the Christ Church Cathedral (also Dublin's oldest building) to the imposing St. Patrick's Cathedral.

Day 3. Dublin - Belfast
Take the train to Belfast today and experience a ride on the comfortable Irish Rail. Once settled into your new accommodations, head over to Belfast Castle and explore its stunning exterior and vast territory. Thanks to its position 400 feet above sea level, you'll also be treated to panoramic views of the city.Â

Day 4. Belfast

For those blown away by some of the stunning scenery featured in HBO's Game of Thrones, this tour is for you! By traveling with McComb's you're traveling with the same company as the cast and crew of Game of Thrones! Transport yourself onboard the coach to the Kings Road for a day visiting the main filming locations featured in this epic fantasy series.
You will start the day by traveling along the Causeway Coastal Route through beautiful coastal towns including Ballycastle, which Game of Thrones fans will know as home to the actors who play Lady Catelyn Stark and Varys! Main stops include Cushendun where you visit the Cave which featured Melisandre giving birth to the shadow assassin! Ballintoy Harbour is the next port of call, where Theon Greyjoy comes back to Pyke Harbour. This is so recognizable there has even been a plaque erected!
Giant’s Causeway - a UNESCO World Heritage site - and Carrick-a-Rede Ropebridge are next. You'll then see Larrybane where Renly swears to Lady Stark that he will avenge Ned's death, but meets his end at the hands of the shadow assassin conjured up in those caves you visited in Cushendun. Finally, stop at the Dark Hedges, possibly the most recognizable of the locations where Arya Stark makes her escape down The Kings Road.

Day 5. Belfast
Today, consider paying a visit to the Botanical Gardens, an important part of Belfast's Victorian history. Visit the picturesque rose garden or stroll through the tropical palm house.
If you travel April 11, 2019 - September 1, 2019, see Game of Thrones: The Touring Exhibition Belfast. There, you can immerse yourself in the wintry landscapes of the North, the tree-lined pathway of the Kingsroad, and the regal settings of King's Landing! Plus, explore Castle Black, the home of the Night's Watch. The exhibition also has settings to explore such as the House of Black and White as well as the frozen lands Beyond the Wall.

Day 6. Belfast - Dublin
Take the Irish Rail back to Ireland's capital city today. Explore any of the architectural feats you may have missed during your first few days here; take a stroll across the Ha'Penny Bridge or snap a photo in front of Dublin's iconic spire that dominates the city skyline.
