Day 1. Welcome to Dublin!
Welcome to Ireland! Pick up your rental car from the airport, then drive approximately two hours to your first accommodation in Kilkenny. After settling in, start exploring the "Marble City," which gets its name from the black limestone found throughout the city.
Stroll through its picturesque streets and enjoy your first Irish meal, with a pint of Guinness of course.

Day 2. Kilkenny - Tralee
Leave Kilkenny today as you drive approximately three hours west to Tralee, the largest town in County Kerry. Famous for its annual rose festival, Tralee is home to the Kerry County Museum and a wetlands center, both which you can explore today.
In the evening, treat yourself to a boxty, a traditional Irish potato pancake that makes a filling and hearty meal!
Check-in - The Rose Hotel
The Rose Hotel in Tralee is a modern hotel with a 4-star rating and a warming atmosphere. Day 3. Tralee
Today, drive the Dingle Peninsula on the westernmost tip of Ireland (and Europe!) Begin in Dingle town, arguably one of Ireland's most charming towns. Stroll up and down Green Street as you pass cozy pubs and eclectic shops.
Head west of Dingle town and drive along the stunning coastline, stopping at interesting points along the way. Go for a walk on the locals-only Beál Bán beach, then explore Gallarus Oratory, a 1,300-year-old stone church.
Day 4. Tralee - Limerick
Say too-da-loo to Tralee today as you drive approximately one hour and 30 minutes north to the city of Limerick. Situated on the banks of the River Shannon, Limerick is notable for its beautiful Georgian architecture and cultural institutions.
After checking into your hotel, head to the Milk Market on Cornmarket Row, a food market dating back to 1852. Here you'll discover Limerick's cultural heart and stomach! Consider visiting one of Limerick's esteemed museums next, like Hunt Museum or the Limerick City Gallery of Art.

Day 5. Limerick

You can also drive to nearby County Tipperary to see the Rock of Cashel, also known as St. Patrick's Rock. Overlooking rolling green countryside, this historic site was once the seat of the High Kings of Munster.
Day 6. Limerick - Sligo
Say goodbye to Limerick as you drive approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes north to County Sligo. It is said the first settlers in Ireland arrived on the north-west coast in present day County Sligo!
One of the most enchanting spots is Classiebawn Castle, an imposing manor house on the Mullaghmore peninsula.

Day 8. Sligo - Dublin
Say goodbye to Sligo as you drive approximately two hours and 30 minutes east to Dublin. Upon arrival, drop your luggage and explore the literary gems of the city. A must-see is Trinity College's iconic Long Room, which has served as inspiration for many film sets.
Head to the courtyard of Dublin Castle, where you'll find the Chester Beatty Library - a museum dedicated to the art of the written words with permanent and rotating collections sure to satisfy any bibliophile.
