Day 1. Welcome to Dublin!
Upon arrival in Dublin you will pick up your rental car and drive to your first destination; the 4-star Fitzpatrick Castle just outside Dublin in County Wicklow. Wicklow is known as the “Garden of Ireland” and is about 30 minutes from Dublin’s city center and 45 minutes from Dublin Airport. You will be driving on the opposite side of the road so proceed with caution! Self-drive vacations are ideal because you will be able to travel at your own pace and be free to pull over where ever you’d like for photo opportunities! You might decide to spend a little time in Dublin before heading to your castle hotel. There are a few must-see sites including Trinity College, the Guinness Storehouse and Dublin Bridge.

Day 2. Dublin – Galway
Today you will take the two hour drive across Ireland to Galway where you will spend two nights. There are several attractions along the west coast of Ireland including the Burren and Kylemore Abbey in the Connemara region.

Day 3. Galway
While in the eclectic city of Galway you are going to want to visit the stunning St. Nicholas’ Collegiate Church and the Galway Cathedral. The art scene is very popular here so you will find many galleries and showcases to visit if you’d like.
Day 4. Galway – Clare
Following your stay in Galway you will drive to County Clare for a two night stay at the Inn at Dromoland. The Inn is about an hour south of Galway. During your time here you will be in a prime location for taking some incredible day-trips. Take advantage of your location and visit the Bunratty Castle & Folk Park, the city of Limerick or the Burren. All of these iconic sights are less than an hour away from the Inn.
Located in the beautiful County Clare countryside, The Inn at Dromoland commands panoramic views across the Clare Hills and Shannon Estuary - and is ideally situated just eight miles from Shannon Airport, a 15-minute drive from Ennis and a 20-minute drive from Limerick.

Day 5. Clare
Today you will want to visit the iconic Cliffs of Moher. This is Ireland’s most visited natural attraction, with a magical vista that captures the hearts of up to one million visitors every year. Standing over 700 feet at their highest point, they stretch for 5 miles along the Atlantic coast of County Clare in the west of Ireland.
Day 6. Clare – Tralee
Take the drive further south to Tralee today. Once you arrive in Tralee, you can relax at your hotel or jump right in! The Rose Hotel neighbors Town Park, one of the largest urban parks in Ireland at an impressive 35 acres.
The Rose Hotel in Tralee is a modern hotel with a 4-star rating and a warming atmosphere. The hotel is located just under a mile from the popular Tralee town center as well as a handful of other exciting adventures-- including but not limited to cycling, horse riding, amusement parks, and more. You'll also be happy to know that this hotel is just about 15 minutes driving distance away from Kerry Airport.

Day 7. Tralee
Continue exploring County Kerry today. Explore the breathtaking Ring of Kerry or Dingle Peninsula for some of Ireland’s purest beauty.
Day 8. Tralee – Killenard
Your final night in Ireland will be spent in luxury at the 5-star Heritage Killenard in Killenard. During your time at the Heritage, you will be in a supreme location for discovering the beauty that exists in County Laois. The Slieve Bloom Mountains will be your scenic backyard. Spend the afternoon outside horse riding, hiking on your own or take a guided wilderness walk. You might be interested in taking a visit to the Ireland Whiskey Trail during the evening. These traditional pubs are only a short drive from the Resort and will give you an authentic taste of Ireland.
Check-in - The Heritage
Immerse yourself in elegant charm at the 5-star Heritage Killenard in County Laois. As soon as you walk through the hotel's doors, you'll step into a state of pure peace and tranquility. Check-in with the friendly reception team and admire the hotel's rich, traditional decor as you make your way up to your room.
