Stops include Plaza de Oriente, Plaza de Espana, Mayor Street, Plaza de la Villa and Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Neptuno, Atocha, Puerta de Alcala y Calle Alcala, the memorial Retiro Park, the Bullring, Santiago Bernabeu Football Stadium and Plaza Colon, where you’ll see grand avenues that lead to the four towers that have given a new look to Madrid’s skyline.
After your panoramic visit of the city of Madrid, you’ll be taken on a guided tour of the majestic Royal Palace, a beautiful exponent of the 18th century, and one of the best preserved palaces in all of Europe.
Day 3. Madrid - Salamanca
After breakfast, wave goodbye to Madrid and head on your merry way! As you journey toward stunning Salamanca, you may want to make a couple of noteworthy stops. Consider visits to the beautiful cities of Segovia and Avila - they're both on the way!
Once you arrive in Salamanca, settle into your accommodation and enjoy free time to explore the city.
