Day 1. Welcome to Edinburgh!
Welcome to Scotland's capital city! Upon arrival enjoy a private airport transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Consider celebrating your first night in Scotland by treating yourself to a pint at Scotland's oldest pub, The Sheep Heid Inn!

Enjoy coastal scenery, beautiful white sandy beaches, medieval cities, and historic villages on your guided tour of St Andrews and the fishing villages of Fife today.
Your day begins with a stop in South Queensferry to view the Forth Road Bridge – also considered the “8th Wonder of the World.” Then travel into the medieval kingdom of Fife, following the coastal route through the picturesque fishing villages in the East Neuk (corner) of the Kingdom of Fife (including a stop in Anstruther).
You’ll have approximately 3 hours to enjoy the historic city of St Andrews – to visit the cathedral, castle and university, shop at leisure, and/or take a walk along its beautiful white sandy beach next to the Old Course, the home of golf. From there you’ll travel westwards through the heart of Fife, stopping in the village of Falkland, home to James V’s historic Renaissance Palace, before returning to Edinburgh.
