This morning leave Ullapool, heading south to the River Droma, followed by Loch Torridon.

Morning: Isle of Skye to Eilean Donan Castle
This journey begins traveling south through the Misty Isle, passing the majestic Cuillin Hills and the historic Sligachan Bridge. The route then leads back to the mainland for a closer look at the famed Eilean Donan Castle.
Mid-Morning: Eilean Donan Castle and Journey to Fort William
Perched on a small island, the iconic Eilean Donan Castle holds many fascinating stories. Visitors can enjoy refreshments at a local café and take a stroll along the loch to admire the castle from the outside, or alternatively, explore its chambers, discovering artifacts belonging to the MacKenzie and MacRae clans. Then, continue on past shimmering lochs, framed by the rugged peaks of the Five Sisters of Kintail. Following this, the transport heads to Fort William for a short break.
Afternoon: Fort William for Lunch, Glencoe, and the Trossachs National Park
Stop for lunch in Fort William at the foot of Ben Nevis, Britain's highest mountain. Sample local cuisine and wander the town center before continuing south through the Highlands. Next is the majestic Glencoe, a valley renowned for its rugged slopes and rich history. Here, there will be time for photos or a short walk to appreciate the landscape and learn about one of the most tragic tales in Scottish history. The journey then continues through the wild landscapes of Rannoch Moor, crossing into the Trossachs National Park. Within the park, the route passes shimmering lochs, towering mountain peaks, and forest-filled glens, with a short break along the way to take it all in.
Early Evening: Journey to Edinburgh
Finally, the journey crosses the ancient natural fault line that runs through Scotland, allowing you to watch as the rugged, majestic Highlands gradually give way to the flat, fertile plains of the Lowlands on the return to Edinburgh.
