Day 1. Welcome to London!
Welcome to the sophisticated city of London! Make your way to your hotel and get settled.
Tonight, consider treating yourself to some fish n' chips!
Check-in - Thistle Kensington Gardens Hotel
Recently refurbished to the highest standards, the Thistle Kensington Gardens Hotel has the best of London right on the doorstep. Hyde Park is literally across the road from the hotel, while the West End shops and theaters are just a short cab ride away. Close to the hotel is Kensington Palace, which was home to Diana, Princess of Wales, and the famous Gardens that give the hotel its name. Fashionable and stylish Kensington High Street is a short stroll away. The Thistle Kensington Gardens hotel has 175 rooms, including spacious executive bedrooms offering wonderful views over Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens.
Day 2. London
After breakfast, make your way to Buckingham Palace and experience the iconic Changing of the Guard. You'll be in the area of Big Ben, Tower Bridge and the Houses of Parliament so you can see all the highlights without the hassle!
You may also want to explore the Tower of London, if you purchase an entry ticket and partake in one of the (free) guided tours with the uniformed beefeaters.
Day 3. London
Today, take advantage of the city's famous museums and galleries! Follow the evolution of human culture and history at the British Museum, or become absorbed in breathtaking works of art at the National Gallery.
In the evening, treat yourself to a ride on the London Eye, a giant ferris wheel which offers panoramic views of the city below.
Day 4. London
Check off everything on your London bucket list! Whether that's treating yourself to a fancy afternoon tea, crossing the Tower Bridge, or strolling through Notting Hill, you've got one last day to make it happen.
You might want to grab a quick, yet delicious bite at either Camden Market or Borough Market!
Day 5. London - Edinburgh
After breakfast, make your way to London's Kings Cross Station for your train to Scotland. You'll arrive in Edinburgh's Waverly Station.
Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Consider celebrating your first night in Scotland by treating yourself to a serving of the national dish, Haggis.

Built in 1879, the Leonardo Edinburgh City offers guests modern and comfortable guestrooms, while still exuding historic charm. Day 6. Edinburgh
Start the day off with a short hike up to Edinburgh Castle, where you can enjoy scenic views of the entire city. The castle sits perched atop an extinct volcano, if you wish to explore the inside, you'll find Scotland's Crown Jewels and the Stone of Destiny.
Continue onward to the Royal Mile directly below, and discover the shops, buildings, restaurants and cathedrals that make up this medieval path.
Day 7. Edinburgh
Eat a hearty breakfast -- today, consider hiking up Arthur's Seat! This hilly path will make you feel like you're in the Highlands, but the stunning panoramic view from the top will remind you of the amazing city you're in.
Day 8. Edinburgh
It's your last full day in Edinburgh! Whether it's the Royal Botanic Garden or Calton Hill, make sure you see every last site that makes Edinburgh so special. Don't forget to walk colorful Victoria Street for major Harry Potter vibes!

Day 9. Depart Scotland
Give Scotland the royal wave goodbye. Today, you'll head to the airport for your flight home.
