Day 1. Welcome to Rome!
At 5pm, meet your Tour Director and travelling companions, and leave the hotel for a special welcome dinner at one of Rome’s lively restaurants. (Dinner)
Check-in - Hotel Romanico Palace
The 4-star Hotel Romanico Palace is set in an ornate 19th-century building and is a 7-minute walk from the Villa Borghese museum and less than a mile from the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps.
Each of the 120 elegant, richly designed rooms feature period furnishings, murals and sumptuous fabrics, and come with free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs. Deluxe rooms come with marble bathrooms, while opulent suites may come with 4-poster beds or carved headboards, as well as whirlpool tubs, and balconies with city views. Enjoy a fine Italian meal from the rooftop restaurant, and decompress in the Roman-inspired spa with a steam room, a hammam, relaxation areas and a gym.
Day 2. Rome
Enjoy unique guided sightseeing, including inside visits to all highlights of ancient Rome including the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel with Michelangelo’s ceiling paintings and The Last Judgment, monumental St. Peter's Square and Basilica to admire Michelangelo’s Pieta and the amazing Colosseum and the Roman Forum, where Roman legions marched in triumph. To make the most of your stay, join our optional walking tour, and see the Spanish Steps, and other sites and squares of medieval Rome made famous in the movie Angels & Demons. (Breakfast)
Day 3. Rome - Assisi - Venice Island
Follow the Aurelian Way along the Tyrrhenian coast and enter Tuscany. Enjoy a stop in Assisi where you'll get to discover the old and cultural city, before continuing on to Venice Island. (Breakfast)
Check-in - Kraft Hotel Florence
The Hotel Kraft Florence boasts a wonderful terrace with hanging garden and swimming pool, where you will be able to admire an unforgettable panorama of Florence. The exclusive American Bar offers an excellent selection of cocktails whike the Restaurant "Rossini Terrace", conjugates the tradition of the local kitchen with a continuous search of new taste; the ideal atmosphere for a light dinner or a casual lunch. From June to September you can sip a drink or a cocktail at the edge of the outdoor swimming pool or taste an unforgettable dinner on the splendid panoramic terrace.
Day 4. Venice Island
Start the day in style by Private Boat and meet your Local Guide. Highlights of your walking tour are St. Mark's Square and the byzantine Basilica, lavish Doges' Palace and the Bridge of Sighs. Also watch a skilled Glassblower fashion delicate objects in an age-old traditional manner. Afterwards, enjoy Venice at your own pace or join an optional cruise to the charming island of Burano. Day 5. Venice Island - Pisa - Florence
In Pisa, take the traditional picture pushing back the amazing Leaning Tower, then continue to Florence, “Cradle of the Renaissance.” Tonight is your chance to try out local specialties on an optional dinner outing to a fine Tuscan restaurant. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 6. Florence
Start the day in style by Private Boat and meet your Local Guide. Highlights of your walking tour are St. Mark's Square and the byzantine Basilica, lavish Doges' Palace and the Bridge of Sighs. Stroll past imposing Este Castle to the marble cathedral before continuing to Rome across the wooded Apennine mountain range, past the vine- and olive-clad Tuscan Hills, home of the popular Chianti wine. This evening, you’ll experience a local favorite; a nice walk to a local restaurant for a special farewell dinner with wine is the best way to say “Arrivederci, Roma.” (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 8. Depart Italy
