Day 1. Welcome to Dublin!
You will collect your rental car at the airport and head to your first destination: Kilkenny. Keep in mind that you will be driving on the opposite side of the road so always proceed with caution. Visit the ancient city of Kilkenny that is now an enormous tourist attraction. The streets are lined with adorably quaint pubs and restaurants for dinner or drinks along with boutiques for some shopping during the day. Stop by the Kilkenny Castle for a taste of history and maybe enjoy a leisurely picnic on the grounds for lunch.
Built on over 40 acres of parkland, the Newpark Hotel provides family-friendly elegance for visitors to the area. The dedicated staff works tirelessly to make sure you and your family receive top-notch service. Many of the spacious, well-appointed rooms include serene views of the green gardens and parkland. Scott's Bar & Bistro has a sparkling reputation for delicious, locally sourced food and is a favorite among the locals.
Strike out for day trips to discover the treasures of Kilkenny, or stay on-property to take advantage of the hotel's many exciting amenities. Day 2. Kilkenny – Cork
From Kilkenny you will drive southwest to Cork for a stay at the Blarney Hotel. In Cork you will find the Blarney Castle and Stone, the adorable seaside town of Cobh and more.
Established in 1946, Actons Hotel is the oldest in Kinsale. The hotel stands on the banks of Kinsale Harbour and provides guests with an unsurpassable view of the yachts in the water. Day 3. Cork
Continue exploring County Cork today. We suggest a visit to the quaint seaside town of Kinsale. You can also check out the English Market in Cork, one of the largest markets in Ireland. You can try some tasty Irish cuisine and experience the culture a bit more.
Day 4. Cork – Clare
Next, head west to the Inn at Dromoland near Ennis, County Clare. The Inn is situated on 450-acres of wooded countryside and is ideally located for tourists. There is a list of attractions that are less than an hour away from the Inn including the Burren, the Ailwee Caves and the Bunratty Castle and Folk Park.

Day 5. Clare

Day 6. Clare – Dublin
Drive to Dublin for your final night. As the capital city, Dublin has a vivacious personality and a list of iconic landmarks to visit. Check out Trinity College, Temple Bar and Guinness Storehouse before you head home tomorrow.
