The day begins with a journey from Edinburgh, following the trail of some of the most iconic filming locations from the Outlander TV series. The first stop is Midhope Castle, instantly recognisable as Jamie’s family home, Lallybroch. Mid-Morning – Doune Castle & The Highlands
The route continues through rolling countryside, passing Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument before arriving at Doune Castle. Known to Outlander fans as Castle Leoch, it served as the seat of Colum MacKenzie and his clan. The day begins with a journey into the heart of Clan Fraser territory. Here, visitors can pause at the tomb of Lord Lovat, the ‘Old Fox’ of the Jacobite Rebellion and Jamie Fraser’s cunning grandfather in the Outlander saga. It’s a place steeped in both history and legend.
Mid-Morning – Glen Affric & Corrimony Cairn

The day begins with a stop in Falkland, a village brimming with charm. Its cobblestone streets, stone houses, and grand palace create a timeless setting that has captured the imagination of Outlander fans.
