Day 1. Dublin Suggestion
The highlight of this adventure is that you will have complete freedom over where you go throughout your time in Ireland. You will arrive at Dublin Airport and collect your rental car and begin your journey. Dublin is a dynamic city with several different historically significant attractions, along with a vibrant nightlife you will want to experience. Spend a day or two here and be sure to visit St. Patrick's Cathedral, Trinity College (and the Book of Kells!) and the iconic Temple Bar. The Guinness Storehouse is a unique type of tour where you finish at the Sky Bar with a pint of the delicious beer!
Day 2. Galway Suggestion
Galway is one of the most interesting cities on the west coast that you will want to explore. You will want to spend at least two nights here if you are coming from Dublin since the drive is will take about two hours. You will be able to visit the Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, the Burren or you can check out the Kylemore Abbey for a taste of history.
Day 3. Galway Suggestion
The town of Clifden is a quaint town filled with shops and boutiques that you can find authentic Irish souvenirs for your family and friends back home! While in Galway you are also going to want to visit the stunning St. Nicholas’ Collegiate Church and the Galway Cathedral.
Day 4. Cliffs of Moher Suggestion
Along the Wild Atlantic Way you will find countless spots to stop and admire the scienic views of the west coast of Ireland. The Cliffs of Moher offer visitors the most spectacular views of the Aran Islands and Galway Bay.
Day 5. Limerick Suggestion
Limerick is home to the legendary Treaty Stone along with King Johns Castle. Perhaps spend some time exploring this great city at your leisure.
